Autism-Friendly Early Openings @ The National Football Museum, Manchester

May 12, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day Second of the month, repeating until December 8, 2019

Free

The National Football Museum will be opening its doors early for children with autism, their families, friends and carers.

Families can explore the galleries in a calm and relaxed environment before the general public access. Gallery sound levels will be minimal with a quiet room available. There will be plenty of opportunities to kick a football around in our Football Plus+ interactives, while non-football fans can enjoy craft activities, handling objects, trails and more.

The activities are free of charge and you can just drop in. Activities are suitable for children aged 5-16 years with their parents or carer.

The museum will be looking to establish regular monthly openings of this nature; please check our What’s On page for the latest dates.

If you have any questions regarding our autism-friendly opening, please contact frontofhouse@nationalfootballmuseum.com.
