Printing with Nature – an inclusive family workshop @ William Morris Society, London

PRINTING WITH NATURE (AN INCLUSIVE FAMILY WORKSHOP)
AUGUST 22, 2022 10.30 – 11.30
In this sensory workshop, use nature to create William Morris inspired prints.
From fruits to leaves, there will be a range of tactile objects to explore printing (gloves are available for tactile defensive children.) At the end of the workshop, experiment with smelly paints inspired by May Morris designs (smell defensive children may explore chill out space during this time.)
To be provided: sensory stories and maps, chill out space, ear defenders (booked on request) and reduced workshop sizes.
Designed for groups where at least one child has additional social and communication needs that act as a barrier for attending our usual family programming. You do not need an official diagnosis. Children with additional needs may bring a friend or family members.
£5 deposit per child. This will be returned after the event unless participants cancel without prior notice 24 hours before the workshop.
All children must be supervised.
