Quiet Session @ The Great Exhibition Road Festival, London

June 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

The Great Exhibition Road Festival is a free annual celebration of science and the arts each summer in South Kensington.

This summer, you can explore the trailblazing ideas, people, and communities changing our world with a weekend of free events for all ages celebrating science and the arts.

As part of the festival, we have a quiet session specifically targeted towards families with children who need a quieter, less busy environment to explore.

A selection of Hands-on family zone activities will be open. You can meet scientists, do experiments, play games and make crafts. The Family stage will be open for the National History Museum’s Dinosaurs vs. Kids: The Ultimate Quiz, and the Science Museum’s Tree-mendous Adventures storytelling session. These shows are relaxed, you can join in or leave as suits you.

The Family Zone has trees for shade and grass to play on, or take a moment to sit and relax.

This event will have some advance tickets released ahead of the Festival weekend.

To attend the Festival, please make sure to register for free. Registering is the only way to receive the latest Festival updates, a first-look at the full programme, and opportunities to book onto popular talks, creative workshops and tours.
