Join us for a free autism-friendly early opening of the British Library.
An event for families with children on the autism spectrum and other sensory needs. Enjoy the Library free from the hustle and bustle of the general public.
Explore our current exhibition Alexander the Great: The Making of a Myth and take part in a workshop in our Learning Centre. A dedicated sensory room will also be available for children needing a quieter and calmer space.
All visitors to this special early opening will receive a visual story in advance to provide an idea of what to expect on arrival. Please note that the Library opens to the general public at 11.00.
