Embrace the power of masks in a playful, socially distanced celebration of mask-wearing, cabaret performance, and disability culture.
The Masked Ball centres the access requirements of artists and audiences at higher risk from Covid-19.
Come together in a supportive, spacious environment to dance, create and relax together. Expect a mischievous, accessible, multisensory evening with an emphasis on laughter and imagination.
Jess Thom, Co-Artistic Director of Touretteshero, says: ‘After two full years of shielding, the idea of being back in public space fills me with excitement, but it’s also daunting.
The Masked Ball is an experiment in access, aiming to create a space where those of us at higher risk can continue to shape and explore our cultural life together.’
