Join us for a relaxed opening of Breaking the News.

This event takes place at the British Library.

Enjoy visiting our current exhibition Breaking the News, where you can enjoy the exhibition gallery in a calm environment with reduced capacity and the sounds switched off.

This event is particularly suitable for neurodiverse adults and those with other sensory needs, but any adult who would benefit from visiting at a quieter time is welcome. The number of tickets available will be limited to ensure the gallery is not too crowded. Our staff will be there to give you a warm welcome and support your visit.

All visitors to this special opening will receive a visual story in advance via email to provide information on what to expect at the event. Please note that the rest of the Library will be open to the general public but there will be a dedicated room for those needing a calmer space.
