Our Relaxed Hours are a time to visit Strange Clay: Ceramics in Contemporary Art for anyone requiring a calmer, more relaxed environment.
Need to know
When there are sensory elements included in the show, such as bright lights and sound features, during the Relaxed Hours session these will be minimised in order to make this as comfortable as possible.
There will be a Preparation Story document that outlines all of the contextual and sensory considerations that will be sent to all Relaxed Hours ticket holders ahead of visiting the exhibition. Advance booking is essential, and you’ll be asked to choose a time slot when you book. However, for this event your ticket allows you to arrive, leave and re-enter at any time between 11am and 3pm.
A drop-in visual arts workshop is also taking place upstairs that visitors to our Relaxed Hours are welcome to participate in at no extra cost.

Tickets can only be sold through the Southbank Centre and our authorised agents, and can’t be resold. You can return your tickets to the Southbank Centre for a credit voucher up to 48 hours before the event. Tickets resold on any third-party platforms will become invalid.
