Relaxed Performance of The Cunning Little Vixen @ English National Opera, London

February 26 @ 2:30 pm - 4:45 pm

The Cunning Little Vixen tells the tale of a mischievous vixen who is captured by a local Forester when she is young. She later manages to escape his clutches, but he is forever haunted by her memory. The story, whilst sometimes comic, has a touching philosophical reflection on the nature of life and death.

At ENO Relaxed Performances we have a laid back approach to noise and movement coming from the audience, encouraging everyone to relax and respond naturally. We have an open-door policy, dedicated chill-out spaces and additional staff available to help. Our Relaxed Performances are also suitable for those with sensory sensitivities, with house lights up most the way, and the removal of flashes and sudden loud noises.

All performances at ENO are performed in English and captioned, with a screen just above the stage showing text which will display the sung word.

You will also be provided with a visual story and have the chance to meet the Orchestra and see some of our costumes and props up close too!

Relaxed performances are for everyone; you may choose to attend a relaxed performance because of an access issue, or because you prefer a more relaxed and inclusive environment. This laid-back approach might particularly suit those with an autism spectrum condition, anxiety, dementia, Tourette’s, sensory and communication disorders or learning disability.

Show running time is 2 hours 15 minutes, including a 20 minute interval, however you can come and go as much as you please!

All Under 21s go FREE and Adult prices are from £15
If you would like to make a group booking for a adult/youth community group or school you may be eligible for a bursary.
