Relaxed Screening – The Reason I Jump @ Bertha DocHouse, Curzon, Bloomsbury, London
June 28 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Based on a bestselling book in which a 13-year-old Japanese autistic boy explains his experience of the world, The Reason I Jump is a beautiful film about being autistic.
The film mixes the boy’s descriptions of autism with the experiences of five other remarkable young people from around the world, showing how their experiences are often intense and overwhelming, but also often joyful and rich.
The film’s director Jerry Rothwell has created a powerful movie that will leave you with a new understanding of the varied experiences of people with autism.
