Join in a different creative adventure each week inspired by the vast collection at The Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre. This unique club is designed to support adult participants with Special Educational Needs and disabilities engage into social activities.

The SENsory Social Club  is a weekly club for adults and young people (14+) with SEND to meet and engage with the collection in a fun and interactive way. No matter where you are from, we offer these creative sessions both online and in person at the Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre.

Join us every Friday during term time, as we make new friends, have fun and learn new skills through a wide range of activities from story-telling, music, acting, craft and games.

To make these sessions as accessible as possible we have made these sessions available on our pay what you can scheme.

The SENsory Social Club is a community where everyone can engage into the collection no matter their accessibility or ability. So join us either online or onsite every Friday morning during term time. We are back!

The Sensory Social Club returns on 30 September with this term’s new theme of Taking Care. The first session will take inspiration from the collection and the different types of soaps we have. In the online session we will be trying our hand at soap carving. Participants in the onsite session will be make their own soap using herbs from our own community garden.
