About this event
Come explore the history of Leigh and the borough of Wigan in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Borrow a sensory backpack and try out some hands on activities in the exhibition, build a lego masterpiece or sit and relax in our searchroom for a morning aimed to welcome autistic visitors and those with other sensory and processing needs, their friends and families.
We will be holding a drop in sensory storytelling session with local storyteller The Short Story Lady at 12:30 am, enjoy traditional tales told in a fun and engaging way.
