Museums, My Way – Hubble Bubble Potions @ The Curve, Slough

Discover the story of Elliman’s Embrocation, a potion created in Slough over 100 years ago and still used today to treat farm livestock, and mix up your own magic in the Slough Museum Pod ‘kitchen’ on the first floor of The Curve library and cultural hub in the centre of Slough.

This is a free drop-in event.

Developed by Museums Partnership Reading, with the support of Autism Berkshire, Museums, My Way sessions allow neurodivergent visitors of all ages to explore museums in a safe environment.

Different types of sessions and support are available at the Museum of English Rural Life – which is part of the University of Reading – at Reading Museum, and now at The Curve in Slough, so that you can choose to enjoy museums your way.

And the Hubble Bubble Potions session will be preceded by an autism-friendly relaxed performance in The Curve’s theatre by The Amazing Bubble Man from 2pm to 3pm – details and ticket information are available at https://curvevenue.uk/events/
